  • They are various cognitive tasks that you use essentially to manage and live your life.

  • Folks with ADHD often have a difficult time with executive function skills. Some symptoms of ADHD that impact executive function are such things as: focusing on too much of one thing or not able to focus enough, easily distracted by noise and external stimuli, struggling to switch between tasks, difficulty in prioritizing tasks, problems with initiating tasks. All of these things can make living a full and successful life as an adult difficult in the workplace, home and in relationships.

  • Some examples of this are: attention and focus, planning, prioritizing, time management, emotional regulation, task initiation, impulse control and organization.

  • ADHD doesn’t live in a bubble. It impacts many parts of your life and isn’t secluded into one area. Executive function coaching provides you with some strategies to help you attain your goals and work to find ways to help you not feel like ADHD rules how you live your life. This is also to in regards to your emotional health.

But what does working with me look like? I work with you to provide counseling services to help you find balance and to normalize your experience. I worked several years at an ADHD center and have extensive knowledge in the world of ADHD. In our work together, you will learn strategies to help manage your ADHD symptoms through executive function coaching. In addition to relational and evidenced-based therapeutic approaches, we will explore potential hurdles that keep you from attaining your goals and deepen your knowledge about your ADHD brain.

Along with providing counseling services, I work with outside services to diagnose, provide medication management and specialized executive functioning coaching.
